The Forthcoming Season For Manchester United

It has come to the time of the year. In a month's time, Barclays Premier League will be back on our screens and Saturday / Sunday nights will no longer be as boring as what the past 3 months has been for us.

As a Manchester Untied fan myself, I am still trying to find something to cheer about. Before we start evaluating how this season roll out for us, let's take a look how we fare in the change market.

Transfer In:
a) Michael Owen
b) Antonio Valencia
c) Gabriel Obertan

Transfer Out:
a) Cristiano Ronaldo
b) Carlos Tevez

The above list is by far not the most allinclusive around but taking a look at the change activities we have been involved, I think the net talent transferred out is more than those we brought in. There are no qualms how much talent we have sold but unlimited query marks on the talent we have brought it in.
On the other hand, the good thing is none of the Top 4 clubs in the league has made major change moves. The only team which has splurge huge sum of money on players is Manchester City, the blue half of Manchester. Having said that, I doubt they are serious contenders for this upcoming season seeing at what kind of players they are bringing in.

My take on this coming season is that Manchester United will still be getting their title while engaging for other honors while Liverpool and Chelsea providing a good fight all the way till the end.
