Racing straight through Time With Tissot

Tissot Watches unveiled its MotoGp variety for the arrival season to Carmelo Ezpeleta, the Ceo of Dorna Sports in Doha, Qatar. Tissot president Francois Thiebaud presented the variety at a pre-race media event to Ezpeleta to honor the occasion. This season is the eleventh year that Tissot has been asked to be the lawful timekeeper for the world's premier bicycle race.

Thiebaud spoke about the partnership with MotoGp and the commitment Tissot has to ability and precision to ensure the best in timekeeping needs for sporting events. The role of lawful timekeeper proves the brand is known for its accuracy and can monitor the bikes with precision as they race at speeds of up to 350 miles per hour. Thiebaud was very proud that the firm was being honored in this way.

Ezpeleta confirmed the partnership is based on a mutual respect for innovation and dedication of both parties and stated he is happy to give the fans and the competitors the best in timekeeping. Three lawful MotoGp watches were presented; the extra edition piece was dedicated to ambassador Nicky Hayden.




In addition there are two Tissot T-Race MotoGp diminutive Edition watches, in quartz and an self-acting version. They both have orange rubber straps and black and silver cases for a high tech look and feel. Inspiration for these colors and the styling came directly from the bike world. The self-acting version is driven by the C01.211 chronograph movement and comes in a diminutive edition of 2,011 pieces. The quartz version will be produced in a series of 8,888 pieces. The Tissot T-Race MotoGp is the third model that is unlimited and comes in the colors of silver, black and red. There will be 18 races for the season and Tissot is ready to go.
